Thumb Spica Application Instructions
Bio Skin® should be applied to dry skin. Oils, lotions and perspiration will
make the support harder to put on and will make it will feel as if it's sized
too small. Dry the area of application before applying support. Take the support
with both hands and stretch the top and bottom of the support two to three
times. This helps to relax the material before its gets broken-in.
1. Insert hand into support between material and ribbon straps with the thumb
up. Slide thumb into elastic mesh until mesh is at the base of the thumb.
2. Pull ribbon hook to tighten ribbon straps. Wrap and secure to the base of the
thumb at the back.
3. Holding wrist hook, wrap strap around wrist and secure hook to the top of the
Bio Skin® material.
