I find that the students retention, particularly for the weaker students is much greater. Economics really lends itself to humor, so animation can be used to demonstrate this. The PowerPoints can be posted on the school computer system so that the weaker students can come in and tutor themselves outside of class. I will be showing the PowerPoints on a Smart Board this year so it will be interesting to see how that impacts learning.
